The Basics

Welcome to our team! If you are serious about making any money in this business, you NEED training!  Here is some basic info to help all consultants, but you are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend our team's New Consultant Training to help you learn the best ways to build a business that is profitable.

The Scentral Hub --  is the name of the website where consultants do business with Gold Canyon.  You should've received your login information in an e-mail from Gold Canyon when you signed up.  Use it at www.iamgoldcanyon.com.  Play around and get to know the site!

Track Your Kit -- Want to know when you'll receive your kit?  Log in to The Scentral Hub, Click on Order History where you should see your kit order listed.  Write down the party ID/order#, then click on the "looking for more reports" graphic on the left side of the Essentials home page.  Once you've logged in to this reporting site, go to Reports, then Administration, then click on Order Shipment Tracking.  Enter your order # and click View Report.  Once shipped, the tracking number will show up in blue because its a link.  You can just click on it and it will take you to the tracking info on the FedEx website for that package.

Gold Canyon Customer Service -- Need to contact customer service for help?  They're usual hours are M-F 8am to 5pm (Arizona time) at 1-866-737-8311.  You will need to give your consultant ID number and the last 4 digits of your social to verify your identity.

Facebook Groups -- Be sure to join our team Facebook group, my downline Facebook group, and the Gold Canyon corporate Facebook page.  Please help us keep a positive forum by asking for help on our downline & team facebook groups without complaining.  Complaints should never be aired on the corporate Facebook page but should be sent to customer service or handled with your sponsor.

Your Gold Canyon e-mail address -- Every consultant gets a Gold Canyon e-mail address so it looks professional when you're doing business.  The typical format is:  firstname.lastname@mygc.com  However, if you have an extra long name or the same name as another consultant, yours may be different.  If you're unsure of yours, you can contact customer service to verify it for you.  Any e-mails sent to your Gold Canyon e-mail address will be routed to the e-mail address you have on file with Gold Canyon so be sure you always keep your e-mail address current in your profile on Essentials.
*If you choose to use a different e-mail address than your Gold Canyon e-mail address, you may not use "GC" or "Gold Canyon" in the e-mail address at all. 

Order Business Supplies -- Some supplies can be ordered through Gold Canyon any time you are placing an order on Essentials (party or personal order) like catalogs, order forms, etc.  You can order business cards, re-order labels, etc. through Vista Print by clicking on the "Order GC branded items" graphic on the right side of the home page of The Scentral Hub. 

Personal Website -- When we refer to your "personal website" we're referring to your Gold Canyon website where customers can purchase products.  When they purchase from this website, you get credit for the sales & get paid commission on their orders at the end of each month (sales in January are paid out on Feb 10th).  Gold Canyon does all the work!  They process the order & send it directly to the customer for you.  If you want to keep a customer, its always wise to offer good customer service to website customers (send a thank you note, e-mail to make sure they received their order, etc.)  When you signed up with Gold Canyon, you chose a website name/url that you should promote to your friends, etc.  when they want to order online.  For those that are experienced in internet marketing, you may want to make sure you're aware of Gold Canyon policies for advertising found here.

Sign up for Direct Deposit -- Use these directions to sign up to receive your commissions as direct deposit.  If you make over $10 in a month and are not signed up for direct deposit, you will be mailed a paycheck and there is a $3 processing fee will be deducted from your paycheck.

Terminology -- A lot of the terms we use will be new to you.  This glossary of terms will help you get familiar with these funny words & what they mean to your business.

Dropbox -- is a program that our team uses to share files with each other

1.  request to be added to our dropbox by e-mailing me at kim.milius@mygc.com

2.  using your e-mail invitation, you'll be prompted to set up your own account & download the dropbox program onto your computer

3.  once you've downloaded dropbox, you'll automatically have access to a folder titled "A Brighter Tomorrow" which contains all the files that have been shared by our team . . . browse, explore, enjoy!

4.  When you want to share something with the team, just go to the dropbox folder on your computer & add your files to the "A Brighter Tomorrow" file folder.  Then, go to the facebook group & let us know that you've added something & which subfolder you added it to.

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL WHEN USING THIS TOOL!
  • You should only add documents that are relevant to our business & will be helpful for others to use & you are giving permission for them to share when you add to the dropbox team folder. 
  • Please do not add items that promote another business or could be offensive to others. 
  • Please notify us whenever you add a new document. 
  • Please add your document to the subfolder that best represents the category it fits into; if a fitting category does not exist, just add it to our main "A Brighter Tomorrow" folder & I will find or create a folder for it later -- for management purposes, please do not create any new subfolders.
  •  If you make changes to any of the documents that others have submitted to the Dropbox, please save them in a different location on your computer instead of in the Dropbox folder.
