Double Wicks All our jars (small & larger) have 2 wicks. When candles are burned according to the directions on the bottom of the jar, the 2 wicks should allow for even burning across the jar so you don't get a tunneling effect with wax left on the sides of the jar. Make sure your customers know to keep the candle burning until the wax is melted all the way across the top before extinguishing it; this helps to prevent tunneling.
Cool Wax All
candles, except the aromatherapy soy-blend candles, are made from a
cool-burning paraffin wax. The wax is warm, when melted, but should not
burn the skin if it gets dumped on someone. This paraffin wax is also food-grade, which is not harmful if ingested.
Wick Dipper Our wick dipper is a great tool. Use the end to dip a burning wick underneath the melted wax. Be sure to pull the wick back up after the flame has gone out. This is a smokeless way to extinguish candles.
Wick Trimmer Our wick trimmer is designed to cut the wick to the exact length it needs to be for a clean burning candle. After the wax has hardened from the last time it was burned, place the bottom of the trimmer flat onto the surface of the wax & snip the wick.
